Co-Branding

Co-Branding enables you to customize the PDF reports that are generated once your pentest is complete. You can modify the logos, color scheme, and company information of the PDF reports so that they reflect your organization's unique brand.

Not Available on all license types

This setting applies to MSSP, C+, and eligible Flex parent accounts. If you need access to this feature, please contact your Customer Success representative.

In order for your co-branding settings to apply to generated PDF re..ports, use the following instructions to set up your Co-Branding page before starting a pentest.

Navigate to the Co-Branding Page

At the NodeZero Portal's top right, select your user profile, then select Settings. From the resulting Settings options, select Co-Branding.

Enable Co-Branding for Accounts

Turn on the Enable Co-Branding for reports toggle switch.

The toggle labeled Apply these co-branding settings to my clients has the following effects:

  • When turned on, this enforces this parent account’s co-branding across all child accounts. (Admins of child accounts will be unable to override it.)

  • Leave the toggle off to enable admins of each child account to independently configure their own co-branding. (Those admins will have access to the remaining controls and options described here.)

For the controls labeled Select an action for co-branded sample reports, see Co-Branding Sample Reports.

Upload a primary and (optional) secondary logo that meet the file format and size requirements.

Co-Branding Sample Reports

Two controls labeled Select an action for co-branded sample reports enable you to apply your organization's branding to the bundles of predefined reports available from the H3 Sample Account:

  1. In the left drop-down, the default Apply option will email you a link to download your zipfile of reports after they're generated. Change this to Download if you prefer to download the zipfile (when ready) directly from the NodeZero Portal.

  2. Click the pencil button on the right to open a drop-down that offers five sets of sample reports, as shown below.

  3. Click the report set you want to generate.

These selections start a background job that generates the co-branded reports. Each of the five sets includes approximately four reports (e.g.: Executive Summary, Weaknesses, Fix Actions, and Segmentation Report).

The two Internal Pentest options differ in depth and primary audience:

  • Sample Internal Pentest I reports typically demonstrate compromises that rely on relatively simple misconfigurations and weak credentials, rather than complex software exploits. Oriented toward an executive/management audience, these reports focus on basic security hygiene (robust password policies, disabling legacy protocols, etc.).

  • Sample Internal Pentest II reports typically add technical depth, demonstrating how a chain of multiple weaknesses (such as lateral movement and privilege escalation) can add up to high-impact compromises like Domain Admin. Oriented toward a technical/SOC audience, these reports illustrate NodeZero's ability to execute complex technical maneuvers.
